POLLACK Goes Zero

Sustainability. Global Warming. Carbon Emissions. Green Initiatives. While these are the buzz words of the new millennium, POLLACK architecture takes these matters seriously and has made bold moves to tackle the issues affecting the changes in global weather patterns.
Through The Conservation Fund's Go Zero Program, POLLACK committed itself to addressing this important issue. Taking into consideration the firm's daily operations, thousands of trees have been planted in a preserve to offset hundreds of tons of carbon dioxide. The results will do more than just fight climate change, they will restore wildlife habitats, improve air and water quality, expand recreational opportunities - leaving a lasting legacy for future, cooler generations. This initiative has also inspired POLLACK architecture to plant trees on behalf of its clients, sowing the seeds of a carbon-neutral future for its customers.

POLLACK and La Salle complete County Bank

POLLACK architecture, working with design architect Rod La Salle, La Salle + Associates of Merced, CA, has completed collaborative design work for County Bank’s new San Francisco flagship retail branch. POLLACK architecture was fundamental in the development and execution of the design.
County Bank, a subsidiary of Capital Corp of the West, is an Independent Community Bank with twenty-four branches serving California’s Central Valley.
POLLACK was retained for this fast track project to assist in building a branch that highlighted County Bank’s innovative brand of banking to the San Francisco market. A high level of finishes was integrated throughout the 3,000 s.f. branch, with stainless steel, glass, large LCD screens and floating ceilings that accentuate the open floor plan. The openness further highlights County Bank’s tech-savvy appearance, bearing a truly fresh and progressive approach for branch bank branding.
