Building Bright Futures From Our Roots

In what will be one of the final steps in a phased transition plan, Richard Pollack, FAIA, FIIDA – who founded the firm in 1985 – is moving into the next chapter of his professional career. Richard will be splitting his time between his duties as Principal at the firm and beginning a new consulting business, Pollack Consulting, focused on helping firms within the design and construction industry advance their marketing, business development and other operational efforts.

With this move, the 41 person firm will complete its planned ownership transition and becomes 100% employee owned. Taking the reins of the firm as CEO is the firm’s current President and Design Principal, David Galullo, AIA, IIDA and stepping into the President’s seat is James Pollet, current Design Principal. Joining Leif Glomset, AIA and Sarah Devine to round out the Leadership Team, Steve Lawler, AIA will be promoted to principal.

This year, the firm was named one of the top ten growing Interior Architecture firms by Interior Design Magazine, sitting comfortably in the ID Top 100. From offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Delhi, India, POLLACK architecture interprets company brands through interior architectural design. POLLACK architecture's client-centered approach has resulted in award-winning facilities for apparel and retail, entertainment, financial services, law, and technology.

POLLACK Goes Zero

Sustainability. Global Warming. Carbon Emissions. Green Initiatives. While these are the buzz words of the new millennium, POLLACK architecture takes these matters seriously and has made bold moves to tackle the issues affecting the changes in global weather patterns.
Through The Conservation Fund's Go Zero Program, POLLACK committed itself to addressing this important issue. Taking into consideration the firm's daily operations, thousands of trees have been planted in a preserve to offset hundreds of tons of carbon dioxide. The results will do more than just fight climate change, they will restore wildlife habitats, improve air and water quality, expand recreational opportunities - leaving a lasting legacy for future, cooler generations. This initiative has also inspired POLLACK architecture to plant trees on behalf of its clients, sowing the seeds of a carbon-neutral future for its customers.
